My Wellness Story
When my older brother was only 27 years old, he heard the words that change a person’s life forever:
You have cancer.
To be specific, it was Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and he had a football sized tumor in his chest. After 5 different chemotherapy regimens and a stem-cell transplant, he was in remission and has been ever since.
If you or one of your loved ones has ever had a health crisis, you know you know how far those shockwaves travel. My brother was the healthiest person in our family, the kind of person who ran marathons for fun.
If I’m being totally honest, his diagnosis gutted me.
My brother and me at the finish line of the half marathon.
I was never a runner, but I signed up for a half marathon to fundraise for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society while he was in treatment. He surprised me by jumping in at the finish line - two days after his transplant. Today, he’s more than a decade in remission and a proud dad to two children.
Looking back, 2008 was the turning point I didn’t yet understand.
One of the most terrifying realizations was that something this serious could happen to someone so intentional about his health. It jolted me into taking a more honest, compassionate look at my own wellbeing.
I started appreciating my body for everything it does and became curious about how to support it better. I examined my lifestyle choices, experimented with new habits, and slowly felt more grounded, energized, and connected.
That curiosity grew into a passion. I became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach™ (IIN), completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, and later dove into Meditation Teacher Training. I couldn’t get enough of learning and I loved sharing what I learned with anyone who needed support.
As a career coach, I began to notice a pattern: so many clients were overwhelmed by stress and anxiety. Even when they landed exciting new roles, they often struggled to enjoy the next chapter because their wellbeing had taken such a hit.
That’s when the intersection of work and wellbeing became impossible to ignore. I've believed for years that when we’re happier in our work, we’re healthier - and the research now backs that up. A strong sense of purpose is associated with significantly lower mortality risk.
It’s why I’m passionate about supporting individuals and organizations. Helping people find work that aligns with who they are improves their wellbeing, and helping workplaces care for their people improves health, engagement, and culture at scale.
What started as one family’s crisis became the catalyst for my life’s work: helping people feel their best, live with greater purpose, and thrive- in their careers, wellbeing, and daily lives.

Certified Yoga Instructor through a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification under Amy Leydon and David Magone. I teach corporate and individual workshops. Other than meaning "to strive for," the word aspire is also traced back to the breath, making yoga a perfect complement to my other offerings. I’m also completing a 30 hour breathwork training to deepen the breath-focused tools I learned through my other trainings. It’s a powerful practice to bring to meetings, on-sites, and your every day life as a human anywhere!
