I believe that happiness in our careers can make us healthier and being healthier can enable us to thrive at our jobs.
I help exhausted professionals restore their energy, empowering them to feel like their best selves and do what they love.
After working with thousands of people on their career development, I noticed two consistent themes:
- Some people experience stress from their work and let it go unaddressed for so long that their health suffers (even when they love what they do!).
- Others have health issues that are simple enough that they think it's normal to feel that way, yet these issues interfere with their ability to perform to their full potential on the job (and to fully engage in what they like to do in their personal lives too).
In both cases, I help clients improve their well-being through incorporating healing foods, movement, and stress relieving activities in a way that’s realistic and sustainable for their lives.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll work together to figure out what your health concerns are, what goals you’d like to create to address them, and how to stay accountable and on track to achieve them. What you determine is your top priority will always be the focus of our work together. I won’t tell you how many calories to eat, which foods are “good” and “bad” or what weight is ideal because I believe it’s more complicated than that.
I believe in Bio-individuality™, or that each person has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on this principle, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and background. I use a personalized, integrative, goal-oriented approach, which means we’ll continuously check in and re-evaluate how things are going and modify goals accordingly. In the end, this approach results in a lasting lifestyle change.
